1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Fast Cleaner Android app (the "App"), provided by the Fast Cleaner developer ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read them before using the App. By choosing to use the App after having an opportunity to review these terms, you agree to them. If you do not agree, stop using the App and uninstall it.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Agreeing to these terms does not grant Android permissions, authorize every data use, or confirm a particular deletion. Permissions and destructive actions require the separate choices described in the App and by Android.

2. What the App provides

Fast Cleaner helps you identify accessible storage items, review them, choose what to remove, and check the results. Depending on your device, permissions, and the feature you use, the App provides:

The App is a storage review and cleanup tool. It does not provide antivirus protection, RAM or CPU boosting, battery repair, guaranteed device acceleration, or unrestricted access to every file. It cannot directly clear other apps' private caches or private data. Files shared by another app may be accessible; that app's private messages and private storage are not part of the scan.

The current version has no Fast Cleaner account, subscription, or in-app purchase. It may display app-open, interstitial, and banner ads when enabled by its configuration and permitted by applicable privacy choices. You can use available local features without signing in to us. Services you independently use, such as email, cloud storage, or mobile data, may have their own charges and terms.

3. Eligibility and authorized use

Use the App only on a device and with files or apps you own or are authorized to manage. If you cannot legally agree to these terms on your own, use the App only with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian, or other person authorized to act for you, as required by applicable law.

You must not use the App to access another person's information without permission, damage or remove their files, evade device security or access restrictions, infringe intellectual property rights, or carry out unlawful activity. Restrictions in these terms do not limit uses that applicable law requires us to permit.

4. Permissions and access limits

You control the access granted through Android. Photo, video, audio, folder, and Usage Access permissions serve different features. Access may be limited to selected photos and videos, a chosen folder, or items made available by a document provider. Refusing a permission can limit the feature that needs it; it does not authorize us to expand access through another method.

You may change permissions in Android settings and change the folders used by the relevant feature. Revoking permission stops further access that requires it but does not necessarily erase information already held in the App's local storage. The Privacy Policy explains how to clear that information.

Results cover the accessible items examined at that time. They may omit private directories, hidden or system apps, inaccessible folders, unavailable cloud items, or items outside your permissions. An empty result does not mean the entire device has been checked or cleaned.

5. Review suggestions before taking action

Labels such as "large," "old," "duplicate," "similar," or "unused" help organize review. They do not establish that an item is unwanted, backed up, safe to remove, or no longer needed.

Duplicate comparisons and photo similarity results are produced by local algorithms. They can be incomplete or mistaken, and visually similar photos may contain important differences. Last-use information can be missing or incomplete and does not prove that an app has never been used. Review the actual items and their importance before choosing an action.

Keep an independent backup of important content before deleting it or uninstalling an app. Fast Cleaner does not verify that another service has backed up an item and does not create a recoverable copy for you.

6. Deletion and system Trash

You choose the items and confirm the operation shown by the App or Android. Some authorized operations, including certain document-provider operations and operations on older Android versions, do not display an additional Android confirmation. Review the selected items and any confirmation shown before proceeding; do not rely on a second dialog to appear.

Permanent deletion and moving to Trash are different actions:

Trash is not a backup. Moving an item to Trash may not immediately increase available storage. Do not assume every deletion uses Trash or has the same recovery period.

You can cancel before an operation is executed. For a multi-step operation, some actions may already have completed when you cancel. Cancellation cannot undo completed deletion, emptying of Trash, or uninstall actions. An interrupted operation may need its results checked before you retry.

7. App management and external services

The Apps feature directs you to Android app settings, where you decide whether to uninstall an app or use other system controls. Uninstalling or clearing another app's data may remove its local information and settings. Fast Cleaner does not control that app's backup, account, or recovery processes.

If you open a file in another app, that app receives the access needed to display it. If you choose to share a cleanup summary, the selected sharing app receives the summary text. These external apps operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

A folder selected through Android's document picker may be provided by a cloud service. An operation can affect the provider's original item and synchronized copies on other devices. The provider may require a network connection and may apply its own deletion and recovery rules. Review the source before confirming.

8. Results and storage measurements

The App reports results based on the information it can read and verify. An operation may succeed for some items and fail, be cancelled, or remain unverified for others. A return from system settings or the end of an animation does not itself prove success.

Selected file size, the logical size of deleted files, and the change in available device storage are different measurements. They may differ because of Trash, cloud storage, filesystem behavior, cached information, or other activity on the device. We do not guarantee a specific amount of free space or a particular device performance improvement. If a measurement or result cannot be established, treat it as unavailable rather than as verified recovery of space.

9. Your content and the App license

You keep your rights to your files and other content. Permission to process an item for a feature does not transfer ownership of it or give us permission to sell it, publish it, or use it to train an AI model.

Subject to these terms and applicable law, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for your authorized purposes. Rights in the App's software, branding, and original interface remain with us or the relevant rights holders. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Do not redistribute the App or its assets unlawfully or remove ownership notices. This does not restrict rights granted by an applicable open-source license or mandatory law.

10. Feedback and support

You may contact [email protected]. The contact feature opens an email draft in your chosen email app; it does not send it automatically. You can review, edit, remove the suggested device information, or discard the draft before sending it.

Do not send passwords, identity documents, payment information, private files, or another person's personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to do so. The Privacy Policy explains how support correspondence is handled. We do not promise a specific response time unless applicable law requires one.

11. Updates and availability

We may provide updates that fix issues, improve compatibility, or change features. Availability can depend on Android versions, device behavior, permissions, and third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device or provider.

If a future version introduces payment, an account, cloud processing, or materially different data handling, its terms and disclosures must reflect that change. These terms do not authorize charges or new data practices merely because they may be offered later.

12. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent allowed by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available," without a promise that every result will be complete, every operation will succeed, or every deleted item can be recovered. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties or your statutory consumer rights.

You are responsible for making choices about content you are authorized to manage and for maintaining appropriate backups. That responsibility does not release us from liability for our own conduct where applicable law makes us responsible.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App or for independent failures of Android or third-party services. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other protected claims where applicable. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of all claims for data loss.

13. Ending use and changes to these terms

You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it. Local app-data removal and copies held by external services are addressed in the Privacy Policy. Ending use does not restore content already removed.

If we change these terms, we will update the date and make the revised text available through the App. We will give additional notice and obtain agreement where required by applicable law. Changes do not retroactively authorize a past action or remove rights that already arose. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the App.

14. Applicable rights and contact

These terms are subject to applicable law. They do not deprive you of mandatory protections available where you live or require you to waive access to a competent court. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
